We're a team of passionate Australian gamers dedicated to honest, thorough, and community-focused gaming journalism.
OmegaOperator was founded in 2019 by a group of Sydney-based gaming enthusiasts who felt that Australian gamers deserved a dedicated, independent voice in the global gaming media landscape. Too often, local perspectives were overlooked by international publications that didn't account for Australia's unique gaming culture, server infrastructure, and community.
What started as a small blog has grown into one of Australia's most-read independent gaming platforms, covering everything from AAA blockbusters to homegrown indie gems, and from grassroots LAN events to international esports championships held on Australian soil.
We are proudly independent — we do not accept payment for positive reviews, and all scores reflect the genuine opinions of our editorial team.
Work With UsThe principles that guide every review, article, and tournament report we publish.
We accept no payment for positive coverage. Every score and recommendation is based solely on our writers' genuine experience with the game.
We complete games before reviewing them. No half-finished reviews, no day-one hot takes — just considered, comprehensive analysis.
We review games and cover events with the Australian player in mind — including server performance, local pricing context, and community impact.
Our readers are fellow gamers. We write for the community, not for publishers, and we always prioritise what matters to Australian players.
We deliver reviews and tournament coverage when they matter most — at launch, during live events, and when the community is talking about them.
We disclose how review copies are obtained, flag conflicts of interest, and publish corrections promptly when we get something wrong.
